WorldAnimals is originally inspired by the creator's experience of studying the Japanese language while living in Japan for a year. One of the best experiences was learning Japanese animal onomatopoeia, and the instructor asking classmates from different countries what the animals sounded like in their languages. The maker of WorldAnimals currently speaks English, Chinese, and Japanese with plans to learn more in the future; other languages were researched to make this app.
