PlanktoQuest Meta Quest

Planktonic organisms encompass a tremendous diversity of life forms, and play key roles in marine food web and biogeochemistry of oceanic ecosystems. Because plankton is essentially microscopic, it remains largely inaccessible/elusive and unknown from the general public and decision-makers. 3D animation is therefore a very attractive and suitable approach to convey scientific knowledge and the beauty of this underwater planktonic world.

“PlanktoQuest” is a video game featuring educational and underwater elements, developed by 3DCREATIONFR and Universit Grenoble Alpes for Meta Quest and released in 2024. The game supports VR technology and offers single-player gameplay. Available on Meta Store.
