The Metaball League was born from a conflict that arose among all the civilizations of the heliocentric system as solar energy began to deplete. After much discussion, leaders of each planet finally agreed on a novel approach: a new sport modeled on Earth's basketball. Each match winner would earn Metanium for their planet, a newly discovered ore that could be used as a substitute for solar energy. This innovative solution not only quelled the conflict but also gave birth to a new era of strong but respectful competition among the civilizations.

“Metaball” is a third-person shooter focused on basketball, developed by bucketplay for PlayStation 5 and released in 2023. The game offers both single-player and multiplayer gameplay. It is available across multiple platforms (PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). Available on PlayStation Store. The title is suitable for all ages (3+). It includes English voice acting.
